Interesting. At first I thought Yig was a root or vine, but he's a mass of branching snakes.

That's right. It's a bit rough but the idea was that.

It may seems odd, but I love this wood in the background, and the stairs. Not a great fan of the lizard, though... It's just gross

Wow- this is a great piece! I appreciate how judicious you were with describing the form- in some areas things are defined but in others it sinks into inky darkness. I've been enjoying your recent Lovecraftian works and find it a breath of fresh air!

Suelen representar a Yig con cuerpo humanoide y cabeza de serpiente, algo que considero un poco torpe o simplista.
Esta representación me parece mucho más certera, más "lovecraftiana", pero sin dejar de contener referencias fácilmente identificables para los "no iniciados"
