Вот такой нежданный, негаданный «сюрприз» ждет нашего славного капитана Джека, и быть или не быть ему капитаном «Жемчужины», вот в чем вопрос? Кто же возьмет верх в данной ситуации? Не святой же водой кропить «Чёрную Жемчужину», чтобы избавиться от призрачного капитана...
Из интервью Джеффри Раша:
Вопрос: Что вы думаете о будущем Барбоссы? Неужели это конец для персонажа?
Ответ: Не могу сказать про конец франшизы, но, надеюсь, что это конец для меня. Моя дочь, не из фильма, настоящая, была в восторге от сцены, где я лечу на якоре. Она назвала меня настоящим супергероем. Думаю, что эта жертва невероятно обесценится, если вдруг: «А давайте-ка вернём Барбоссу с того света. Не важно, что мы это уже делали. Ведь он так нравится зрителям». Джерри Брукхаймеру известна моя позиция. Я не против заглянуть в продолжение как призрак с небольшой ролью. Быть этаким пиратским «отцом Гамлета». Но о полноценном возвращении речи не идёт.
Ну вот, Джеффри Раш против возвращения Барбоссы в продолжении франшизы «Пираты Карибского моря» (если таковое случится), а мне очень жаль, что Дисней избавился от одного из самых харизматичных и интересных персонажей фильма. Да и как же теперь быть без вечного соперничества двух капитанов одного корабля?
