haha awesome i know exactly what you did here too, because i just did something like it last night.
let me guess, the flash light app with special effects on set on a lower blinking speed? haha my friend decided he would do a heart so we did a 30 second and it turned out, well kinda like gay prideish. like rainbow hearts? nice shot, what i found works well is set the camera to self timer, use the same flashlight thing to light up your subject, then let the camera autofocus, then press the shutter release and then turn the light off and then do what you did here. that way the subject is in total focus, still yours turned out great

hehe, yeah i used auto-timer abck then on 30sec but now i got a remote so it`s easier and i can time ti better, it used an ipod touch to create the lighting effect a flash would be too bright...

oh nice, i want to get a remote for my d1 but its like a 70 dollar remote so ill have to wait to see if i have enough money in college.nice pic tho, was it the flashlight application? thats what i was wondering, yeah flash wouldnt work well unless your aperature is set at like f/22 and your iso is at 200 and maybe lower your exposure compensation.
