I didn't take the time. It was rendered in different intervals (Luxrender allows you to save a partial render and resume it later). Say more or less, in total, 10 hours. I don't have a very fast CPU.

The props were loaded with no textures. Reality/Luxrender made them looking good.

I swear I didn't
I just set the diffuse/glossiness/translucency/coat RGB colors and strength. Luxrender and the light hitting the pearls did the rest (but it took some time for the render to be ready...).

But if you meant the ear drop pearl... there's some glare effect added through Luxrender (while rendering). I don't know if I should consider it a tweak or a postwork adjustment...
