It's not that bad for a 3th painting. Since It doesnt happen have often that starters use a lot of texture like you did. The same texture also gives some little problems here, espiecially on the left, it seems as if there this jungle kind of plants growing up that cave wall, but way up it looks more like the texture of a tree. Its hard to devine.
I like how you did teh city on the other hand, its not easy to make it look like a city, from that distance but you made it look very believeable.

i really really like this, and i wish that i had a tablet, because every time i look at a digital art piece i want to shoot myself. i like the concept and the execution. i always look for light first, and you have that. the light source you used was fun, unique and works well with the piece. it took me a second to see the city, probally becasue i assumed that the giant stone head wasnt that big. you should put some boats in for refereance to further concrete the idea of a port. hope that helps, if i knew digital art...i could be or further use.

WONDERFUL texture on the rocks, and the water looks very real. The rock head looks great. It's hard to wrap your mind around how big that cave must be.
