Description Warnin' for HUGE FILE SIZE.

This is for ([link] ) and the Improvement Club.

First of all, obviously I am not perfect. I know I made some mistakes here (damn eyes get me every time D: ) but I hope it helps anyway. We're all still learning, aren't we?

Some things:
-Drawing a face head-on is really hard (at least for me OTL) because you have to get the symmetry just right.
-I can't draw anime to save my life. But fear not, for realism is the basis for every other style. You've just got to tweak it a bit to fit your style of choice.
-You said you have trouble with noses. I love drawing noses, so I tried to help with that.

1.) The first step is just sketching out the basic shapes. There's a circle for the head, a bunch of triangles for the nose, some lines for the mouth, etc. It's really not anything too fancy. Just remember: guidelines are your bff. Actually following them is pretty awesome too. (hehe I am kind of bad with that sometimes).

Also behold, a mini lesson on noses. I hope it makes sense. A nose is basically just a pyramid from various angles.

2.) Fleshing out the details. It really helps if you have a reference picture for this. I used this generic male face: [link] I hope you can still make out the basic shapes that I used to construct the various facial features.

3.) Adding hair and clothing. It really helps to draw out the body and head first and then add stuff like clothing. Then you can see where it should fold and hang. I was kind of confused about what his kimono thing was supposed to be doing, but I tried to keep it mostly faithful to what you had. The material of the collar seems very stiff, so it wouldn't fold much. In contrast, thinner material would bunch and fold around the belt and the sleeves as it is compressed.

4.) I added some shading. Don't take this too seriously; I suck at shading.

Comments? Questions? Concerns?

I would actually really love it if someone could correct my correction. hehe. That would be awesome.
