A water ninja is basically a self-appointed water policeman who goes around taking pictures of people they feel are using too much water. They then take these photos and post them on social media in order to shame them into using less water. These occurances have been more prevalent in California, where there is currently a drought. However, these water ninjas don't seem to realize that the biggest waster of California's fresh water is the state government, which regularly dumps billions of gallons of usable water down the drain annually in the name of protecting the environment. So, if the water ninjas are that concerned about water conservation, maybe they should go after Sacramento rather than attack the average Joe.
