Description The image above was acquired via War Thunder.
The information below applies only to my own fictional Isekai universe: the Kingdom of Erodas.

This particular tank design is supposed to be used by an isekai hero who semi-plagiarizes real-world technology to advance the fantasy world he's found himself thrust into and make his newfound home more formidable a foe. It is best not to think of this vehicle as a product of an alternate history, but more of as an alternate universe where someone plagiarized the designs of ours. As such some of the specifications will not reflect the real-world version of the vehicle.

"Light Tank Concept No. 6: Panzer 38(t). Pros: Classic proven design. Versatile and easily converted chassis for alternate models. Could be the excellent middle ground of punch and speed. Great armor. Extra machine gun on front hull. Cons: Weapon caliber is smaller than current LT2 and LT4 tanks (45mm). Slower than LT2. Conclusion: Hold for the future for now. Hold placed on all new tank models for foreseeable future. King impressed by this model though so might see individual commissions. Side note to self: Start working on blueprints for conversions of the 38(t) to its German and Swedish variants." - Sir. James Miles' notes regarding the LT-C6.

Background
When James Miles achieved the status of becoming a Demon Lord (A power ranking and not becoming an actual Demon), he gained a massive boost to his intelligence stats. After some consideration, he realized that the Kingdom of Erodas, the nation he'd come to call home since arriving in the fantasy world, would now become a target. Having a Demon Lord being named a Holy Knight would make the surrounding kingdoms afraid and could lead to potential war. Knowing this, James convinced King Ricart, the King of Erodas, to allow him to upgrade the Erodian Military, promising he could advance it by a couple centuries if not more in a very short amount of time, putting Erodas in an advantageous position to repel any attempted attacks and invasions. When James started his "Jumpstarted Industrial Revolution" of the Kingdom of Erodas, the most advanced military technology were crossbows and trebuchets. Within a couple of years of beginning what became known as "The Erodian Advancement," the Erodian Military had advanced by leaps and bounds, utilizing the world's first military aircraft and armored vehicles as part of their standing military.

In late 1225 ESC, King Ricart Erodian, needing to focus Erodas's economy out of a war economy, ordered Sir. James to slow if not halt Erodian military tank prototyping for new models of armored vehicles. At the time the order was given, Sir. James was working on what he hoped would be the last new tank model for the Erodian Military. The LT-C6, nicknamed the "Leichtpanzer" or Light Panzer was based on the real world Czechoslovakian built and German fielded Panzer 38(t). He used the design as it made for an excellent middle ground between the speed of the faster LT2 "Beetee" (based on the Soviet BT-5 and BT-7) with stronger armor and the extra hull mounted machine gun of the larger MT1 "Panzer" (based on the German Panzer IV). The design was selected not only for its effectiveness but also because its chassis was used as the basis for numerous designs such as Tank Destroyers, AA Batteries, and even troop carriers. This would, long term, save Erodas lots in terms of finances and material as well as manpower in developing and fielding multiple vehicles based on a single chassis, something the Erodians have only explored on smaller scales.

Performance wise, the test crews liked the Leichtpanzer due to its similarity to the larger MT1 in terms of armaments but also for its speed. The prototypes use a top-of-the-line engine that have been in development for the LT2s, offering the same amount of horsepower on a more fuel efficient engine. The Leichtpanzer is slower though due to the weight of its armor and overall mass as well as a comparative lack of aerodynamic design which makes it drag more at faster speeds. Regardless such comparative differences are negligible compared to the offensive and defensive benefits. Its gun caliber is smaller than the LT2s though, sporting a 37mm gun instead of a 45mm weapon, but experimentation with upgunning it to a 45mm gun has been promising. The Prototype was approved by the King but mass production was not, owing to the shifting of priorities. However the LT5, as it would become known, is largely seen as a potential replacement for both the LT2 "Beetee" and the LT4 (based on the Soviet T-26).

Sir. James has already drawn up the schematics for other vehicles based upon the Leichtpanzer's chassis all based upon the real-world Panzer 38(t)'s design, such as a couple tank destroyers (Based on the German Jagdpanzer 38(t) "Hetzer" and Swedish Stormartillerivagn m/43), assault guns (based on the German Marder III and Swedish Stormpjas fm/43-44), Anti-Aircraft Guns (based on German Flakpanzer 38(t)) and possibly a troop carrier (based on the Swedish Pansarbandvagn 301). The potential for the Leichtpanzer design is anticipated to one day streamline Erodian tank production as well as to help make it easier for crews from one model of Leichtpanzer variant to adapt to others even when they're functionally different.
