Description This is one of the vehicles from my canceled Star Wars Fanfiction Series: Star Wars: The Shadow Wars.

Note: The information below is from my own universe which is a blend of old and new canon and is not to be considered canon in any other universe but mine.

The image was acquired via Star Wars: Empire at War using the New Republic at War mod.
For those who've played Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, yes, this is the Rebel Assault Mech.

...

Model: HAVc-R3 Juggernaut
Nickname: Havoc Tank, Havoc Roller
Manufacturer: Kuat Drive Yards, Alliance Underground Engineering (Originally)
Armaments: 1 Heavy Laser Cannon turret, 1 rapid repeating laser cannon, 2 medium anti-personnel laser cannons, 2 twin blaster cannons, 2 rocket/grenade launchers (All concealed within hull)
Affiliations: The New Republic

When the New Republic rose to power, one hotly contested issue was whether or not to continue using walkers, specifically the AT-AT, as part of their regular military. The Rebellion had made use of stolen walkers but usually out of necessity due to lack of effective ground vehicles to meet the Empire in combat. In the end, the New Republic decided to avoid using walkers, moving towards using wheeled, tracked, and repulsorlift based vehicles. The New Republic was able to find useful war machines to help meet the dwindling Galactic Empire in combat in most areas but one. The New Republic needed a big bruiser like the AT-AT. Fortunately, they already had the beginnings of one.

During the Galactic Civil War, the Rebellion utilized their in-house Alliance Underground Engineering group to try and brainstorm designs for the Rebels to use to counter the Empire. One such design was a rebirth of the Old Republic's HAVw A6 Juggernaut. The Rebel Juggernaut, nicknamed the Rebel Attack Tank, utilized the salvaged frames and drive systems of several recovered juggernauts. These Attack Tanks were built with rounded edges versus the more boxy shapes. The Rebels didn't have the equipment to fully rearm the Juggernauts to their Clone War era arsenal. Instead most Attack Tanks would be armed with large laser cannons to help fight off the Empire's heavy armored units but the Attack Tanks weren't as effective as Rebels would've liked. So once the New Republic was established, they finally had a means of upgrading and improving it, making it a true Juggernaut.

The HAVc-R3 Juggernaut was designed using the schematics of the Attack Tank and is a continuation of the Clone Wars era Juggernauts. The R3s are as heavily armed as the old A6 Turbo Tanks if not more so, with improved equipment, more robust drive systems, built-in deflector shielding, and more. The R3s, nicknamed Havoc Tanks, compared to the A6s sport matching armament and shields but their weapons are concealed within durable armored hatches and extend into place when in combat. Many Imperial Remnant forces have dismissed the lethality of the Havocs as they approach with their weapons concealed but once the weapons are unfurled, they're usually sent scrambling for cover as their defenses get obliterated by the well armed Havocs. It should be noted that the Havocs are not suited as forward command posts. Much of their interior space is dedicated to housing their weapons systems. Much like the A6 models, the R3s are bi-directional, meaning they possess no true "forward" side and can easily go into reverse to cover their rear flanks without having to turn around. In combat tests, the Havocs have successfully defeated an Imperial AT-AT nine times out of ten, proving the superiority of the Juggernaut to the old Imperial war machines.

For transport duties, the Havocs have a near-identical twin, the HAVt-R2 which has only one cockpit but can carry upwards of a hundred troops and is armed with three anti-personnel blaster cannons and two point-defense cannons.

Well, there's two reasons so many of the New Republic's tech is upgraded Rebel tech in my universe. On my end, it's because there aren't that many new models I can pick from to grab screenshots of. That's my limitation.

And second there's a little bit of a real world aspect to it. Basically, the adage goes "if it works, it works." Like there are still countries in the world that use tanks left over from World War II, like the Centurion Tank and the Russian T-54/T-55, not because they can't afford new ones but because the tanks themselves are a reliable and trustworthy model. So if you find something that works and gets the job done well despite its age, it's worth keeping around. In Star Wars, even the Empire kept using Old Republic tech albeit in diminished capacity. They still had Venator Star Destroyers, Acclamator Assault Ships, Dreadnoughts, and lots of Clone War era walkers such as the AT-TE, AT-RT, and AT-PT throughout its lifetime and even well afterwards. So the New Republic is simply using what they know works and gets the job done. They upgrade and modernize most of the equipment so they're up to date though.

So is there any new vehicles from the new republic at war you are going to imprint? Just wondering.

Here's the problem with that. The New Republic at War mod doesn't really showcase any new vehicles, just reused vehicles from past Star Wars games such as the T1-B and T3-B from Force Commander and the Rebel Attack Tank from Galactic Battlegrounds. Most of the mods I've seen haven't featured any new vehicles for the New Republic. Even the Rise of the Mandalorians mod just features updated reskins of the existing vanilla units from EAW. About the most I've seen in terms of new machinery is in space where the New Republic has new models of Mon Calamari cruisers and other new ships such as the New Class Modernization program vessels like the Nebula Class Star Destroyer or the Endurance Class Carrier, but in terms of ground vehicles, the EU hasn't elaborated OR models for these new vehicles haven't been made for games such as Empire at War or Garry's Mod. The sequel trilogy hasn't come forth with new toys for the Resistance either. Those pathetic little speeders from the Last Jedi look like cannibalized B-Wings and weren't really good for anything short of cannon fodder.
