Description This is one of my bridge officers from Star Trek Online.

Name: Kaloth, Son of Krell'tor
House: House of Kaloth
Position: Gin'tak to the "House of Harrison," Captain of the I.K.S. Hurgh'ragh

Kaloth, Son of Krell'tor, like many Klingons his age, was born with the smoothed cranium from the augment virus that had afflicted his people since the mid-23rd Century. After his Second Rite of Ascension, Kaloth joined Koloth, who was of an allied house, as a Bekk aboard the I.K.S. Gr'oth. In an amusing turn after an incident at the Federation's K-7 Station, Kaloth and his fellow crewmen had to later purge the ship of Tribbles that the Enterprise had beamed onto their ship. Although Kaloth was unaware of the fact that the Federation had done this (and later decided it was an amusing prank from the Federation), it caused him to loathe the creatures more than Tribbles disliked Klingons. At some point between 2268 and 2344, his cranial ridges were restored. Sadly, Kaloth's family and House were decimated in an accident in 2343, leaving Kaloth the sole inheritor of what remained of the estate. He dedicated his life to his military service after that, depressed.

By 2344, he had become Captain of his own vessel, the I.K.S. Hurgh'ragh. His ship was the only one on station at Narendra III when the Romulans launched their surprise attack on the colony. Kaloth and his men fought valiantly but were ultimately outmatched. But it was not a good day for them to die as the U.S.S. Enterprise-C arrived and fought the Romulans, ultimately sacrificing itself and being destroyed. Kaloth gave the order to recover as many escape pods as they could but only managed to recover one before the Romulans captured them all. The Romulans were subsequently run off by the arrival of KDF Forces. Inside the pod was the Enterprise-C's Chief Engineer, Lieutenant Richard Harrison. Harrison was mortally wounded and would not survive despite the Klingons' best efforts. Kaloth sat with Harrison who told the Klingon warrior of his family and asked for his body to be returned to them. Kaloth, respecting his wishes and moved by the Enterprise's sacrifice, vowed to do so and to protect Harrison's family. When Harrison died, Kaloth screamed into the heavens, warning Sto-vo-kor of a warrior's arrival.

Kaloth kept his word and brought Harrison's body to Richard's wife and teenaged son who, at the time, had been living on a small Federation colony. Kaloth vowed to protect the "House of Harrison," and the colony vicariously with the Hurgh'ragh. Most of his men had left the ship, acknowledging Kaloth's blood oath. Kaloth watched over the Harrisons from a distance, understanding that some in the colony feared his presence. He would later tell Richard's grandson of his grandfather's noble sacrifice.

By 2372, Richard's Grandson, Michael Harrison, and his wife Eliza had moved to the border Colony of Vetax IV where Richard's great-grandson Jonathan was born. Michael had grown up with the old Klingon Warrior so he trusted him implicitly. Kaloth was allowed to take Jonathan, his best friend Robert, and later Jonathan's adopted sister Juniper on trips into the wilderness where he taught them to survive, speak Klingonese, and taught them to be Warriors. For fifteen years he watched them become proud and strong. He didn't disapprove of their dreams to join Starfleet, having grown to view the Federation as honorable allies and that Jonathan's service would be honoring his great-grandfather's memory.

Sadly, in 2387, the colony was attacked by Orion Pirates who raided the colony and killed both Michael and Eliza while abducting Juniper. After making sure Jonathan and Robert were safe, Kaloth swore vengeance and vowed to find the Orions responsible for the deaths of Jonathan's parents and kill them to complete the circle of vengeance. He then returned to his aging Battlecruiser and set off to seek vengeance.

He's been hunting for the Orions responsible ever since.
