Since I luckily am a hoarder when it comes to art files, I was able to use the sketch I had for Opal's redesign to go ahead and fully make her new reference! I'm pretty happy with how this turned out, at the very least. ;w;Like I said before, I do plan on redoing both Quinn and Quinton's since I want to draw theirs out with the Prince/Princess design instead of the noble designs. That, and not being too happy with the actual art is another reason behind it. OTL

Ohh, I really like the changes in her design! The blue is such a nice touch ( I am a sucker for blue, I have no regrets ), and I feel like this design is more balanced somehow?? Hmm, wish I could explain it better-- The overall aesthetic looks better!
Alsoo, your shading looks a bit different somehow?? Did you use a texture or something?? It gives it a nice feel!

Thank you! I'm happy you like the changes! ;w; Blue is definitely a great color. I think I get what you're saying! Honestly, the default witch design didn't really...feel right for her. I'm not sure if it's just the color scheme, but the new version definitely suits her a bit more. ;w;
Ah, yes, the shading is a little different for these FE sheets than what I normally use. ;w; There's a diagonal line texture in a lot of the shadows as well as a general grunge-y texture over everything but her face. ;w; I'll be redoing some of my other Fates sheets and will be updating them with this shading style since it's closer to the "official" shading for the support/conversation sprites.

Aaah, well thank you! I've been looking at the original FE portraits a little more closely and have been trying to mimic it a bit more, even if I don't get the style down itself, so I'm happy people like it! There are just a few tedious parts, but I'm happy with the outcome. ;w;

It's really cool to actally try and emulate the style because come on, the feeling of seeing your OC in the canon style gives life ; 7 ;
I feel some redesigns are far better than the originals! I'm also very partial to Opal's and Iris' redesigns!
