Very cool, I love the amount of detail
Great job on his armor!

Thank you!

To be honest, I kinda used a referrence for his armor and for the decoration of the horse. It was an old historical drawing of which I didn't know the author. I just modernised it a little bit and simplified some details that were unclear because of the small size of the image and the resolution that wasn't too big either.

You're welcome!

That's okay, lots of artists use references

Yeah. You know, when you care about accuracy, you need to educate yourself while working on your piece.

Exactly I've started gathering some ref. material for one of my comics which I plan to redraw.
Mostly some magazines that I'll start piling up.
Especially ones about home interior are useful, they're hard to draw and one tends to draw them all as if it were your own home.
Something I'm guilty of myself, in the very few rooms I've drawn.

And car magazines XD

Magazines are actually a great source of refference. Or internet websites if you can't afford to carry or store all that paper.
And of course you gonna draw your own home, we do express ourselves based on personal experience, so that's natural. So we need either refferences. Or staying at different places, which might be more fun, but less economical ^_^"

And fun to look through, too!
For drawing I prefer having a physical picture, but the internet is so large, that one can always find some good pictures there

Haha, very true! I wouldn't mind traveling around a bit, but sadly neither of us has a money tree XD

Actually I also prefer to have physical drawing reference. I do use the computer/phone/tablet screen a lot, but I'm slightly annoyed at having to touch the screen or the mouse frequently to stop it from turning off. Also, the screen slowly hurts my eyes.
