Thinking about Obito having lived- he would have certainly revealed the coup plot to the Third, he and Fugaku would have hated the other, but Obito might have halted the plot early on, being some years older than Itachi. Itachi would have had an ally amongst his Uchiha kin. One wonders how that might have made Sasuke's life different...

Yes, that's exactly what I think with Obito. He would of told about the plot knowing him ^_^ Yeah, Sasuke's life might of been different. See, this is what's so fun about this series, lot's of interesing things that could of happen if certain events happened or didn't happen and stuff. It's just really fun

Oh I know- like how in your short doujinshi where Minato and Kushina were both alive, you guessed like I did that Naruto and Sakura's innate personality similarities and attraction drew them together as friends with a hint of something more romantic starting between them as they grow up- a vibe Minato and Kushina pick up on.

Sakura would have never been attracted to Sasuke in that kind of world, Ino still would have been attracted to Sasuke (even if the Uchiha massacre had never happened, Sasuke would have still hated all the fangirls so that wouldn't change, but no strain would have occurred in Sakura's and Ino's friendship because they liked different boys- although I bet Ino would be a bit jealous that Sakura was luckier than her with the boy she liked) but Kushina would have would have strongly encouraged a friendship between Naruto and Sasuke, so perhaps Sasuke would have been less antisocial- like Sasuke at his best in part 1, where he developed a bond with Naruto.

Hinata wouldn't have noticed Naruto, as he would have just been another boy in her class, probably still struggling somewhat with the academic subjects, but not bottom of the class, likely he would have already been friends with Shikamaru, Chouji and Kiba.

Yes it's funny that the Uchiha is like Naruto and Kakashi is like Sasuke Uchiha. Though Rin seems nicer than Sakura.

No, not Tenten. Rin was nearly as passive and even more a non fighter than Hinata.

Really, it's the one thing I think Minato did wrong as their team leader, he never taught Rin even minimal fighting techniques. At least Kakashi included Sakura in the general fighting training and she picked up bits of Naruto's fighting style, even before Tsunade taught her how to fight well enough to take on a member of the Akatsuki.

Rin not having even basic fighter skills is likely what caused her death. (and I noticed she wasn't present amongst the teenaged shinobi during the Kyuubi attack, while we saw Kakashi, Gai, Asuma and Kurenai, so she might well have died just shortly after Gaiden) It's what caused her to be kidnapped in the Gaiden, and Kakashi spoke of "not being able to protect Rin" so it sounds pretty likely she still didn't get training after Obito's death. Tsunade definitely wasn't her teacher, Tsunade's students- Shizune and Sakura learned to fight to live.
