Barong the Dream Walker 2 : THE COLOURED VERSION

This artwork represents me when I was 12. In that time, I was going to Prambanan Temple and Borobodur in Middle Java, to watch Sendratari Ramayana. Sendratari Ramayana is a traditional theatre that tells about the story of Rama and Shinta, Hanoman the white monkey, and Rahwana or Dasamuka. When I was a kid, I didn't interest with that stuffs.

When I finished watching it, I got a very terrible nightmare when I was sleeping that time. I met a long-haired Barong that kept chasing me. I run and run but still, he got me and I woke up.

Later then, I know now that Barong is a dream walker, he come to people's dream who didn't respect the heritage of Indonesia.
