Magic: As a Born Adept, Misha is able to use earth magic at an unusually young age. She has inherited her father's "plant empathy" and an odd quirk; her magic is a little... leaky. It appears that she passively and involuntarily uses a tiny bit of magic all of the time. Naturally this leaves her a little tired and she spends a bit more time sleeping than a normal fawn, but otherwise it doesn't seem to hurt her. It just means that if she spends too much time in one spot- say, talking to another fawnling or sleeping- she will find herself surrounded in green grass or tiny flowers. As a medium-level magic user it is fairly harmless but when she gets older it may become more problematic!

Once upon a time, Glenmore was a place filled with magic and wonder and touched by the gods. Earran was the Prince of the Forest and he ruled wisely and well. Once he ascended to the home of the gods, he left sons and grandsons, kings and princes in his wake. Their magic was strong, and their task was to maintain the glory of his kingdom and the forest that was its beating heart.
For decades and centuries the descendants of Earran kept his forest healthy and blooming. No fawnling ever went hungry in this land of splendor and plenty and Earran was pleased.
Over time, something changed. It was slow at first, but the magic of Glenmore began receding. The great lords began to care more for their harems than their duty to the land. The line of kings began to falter.
To a god, years on earth may slip away as quickly and inconsequentially as a breath. When Earran turned his attention to his

Appearance: She’s got her mother’s long legs and elegance and her father’s oversized ears and short, heavy tail. It acts as a handy counterweight, as she is otherwise so light she might be blown away in a stiff breeze.

Trinkets: She has a piece of amber with a tiny ancient flower inside, given to her by Prince Derryth . Her father also gave her his first earth magic charm made of malachite.

Personality: Kindhearted and trusting. Is quiet, but will happily speak with anyone who approaches her. She loves stories of travelers and distant lands and will believe just about anything she is told.

What the herd thinks of her (Glenmore): She is, on the whole, viewed with suspicion. The product of a commoner stag and a royal doe coupled with the bizarre color and rare early talent for magic? For a herd founded on the idea of tradition she's just a little too different in a few too many ways for most to be entirely comfortable with her.

She is a commoner, but due to her parents' former positions as advisor and schoolmaster she spent a great deal of time with Royals and their fawns, particularly those of King Drustan's. Some herd members worry that this might cause her to get an incorrect idea about her proper place in the herd hierarchy. Now she and her family stay out of sight of the herd to avoid catching the eyes of those who might not view them favorably.

Her defects have become more evident as she has grown, but they aren't highly visible or obvious to those who don't know her well so to a stranger she might appear to be defect-free.

Fawnhood: She was raised by two devoted parents who loved and encouraged her. Later she learns that the herd harbors some ill-will towards her mother who was looked down on for picking a weak common mate out of love rather than a strong Glenmore Lord of good breeding. Her parents both encourage her interest and talent in magic and herbs and are proud of her progress despite what the rest of the herd thinks. Herb lore is challenging for her due to her inability to smell or see colors, but with the help of her plant empathy she is able to get by and she tries to make her parents proud.

Future: She wants desperately to get out and see the world as her parents were never able to do. Her father tells her many stories from the travelers he has met. She wants get out of Glenmore, with its social constraints and restrictive laws, and travel the islands. With her earth magic she plans to spread useful plants around the islands and when she is older reinvigorate the grazing grounds as the great Princes of Glenmore have always done. She finds it unfair that Glenmorians don’t spread the wealth of their incredibly useful magic with less fortunate herds.
