Because I'm lazy and hate drawing the same stuff just remotely different again and again...it's also why I rarely do comics XD; I SUCK!
I have a zillion ideas, but not the nerve : ( Usually I don't because I start trying and then I'm not happy with how it looks XP

Eeee, same here. >.> But i always contentrate so much on lines that i end up killing it. XD It looks all messy when i try. And yet i still want to be a comic artist. *3* But yours are cute and whimsical! 
Animation, i've now realized, is not my forte. But i don't wanna switch majors now. :B

Yeah, it's the same for me XP Animation is something I love, but am not good at; I know what it's supposed to look like, but can't get it right most of the time; it's pretty much the same with comics, though the main reason is my absolute annoyance with backgroounds (I hate having to fiddle with perspectives XP I love drawing faces the most...and bodies as well, heh~

Backgrounds are the enemy... >_>" Thats why we need to hire our own background artists! I still struggle with animation in the same aspects you explained. I know it, but getting it to transfer on paper is a nightmare.

As much as I love drawing in flash, because the lines turn out so krispy clean and sexy...I still can draw best with a mechanical pencil on cheap printer paper XP That's where I get the best results ;^; And transfer really is a bitch XP
I always said I need a personal background slave 8D Me and a friend always joked that we'd one day hire the other for that purpose; we used to draw comics together in the we took turns drawing one pic...and we never knew how the story would develope X3
