I already drew this pic out last year and finally decided to get it done. I was gonna color it on Gimp, but I decided to test out a few things on Illustrator in terms of the background, so I changed my mind.
I will tell you the background took me a while because I had to use several layers in illustrator. x-x Anyways, enough of that, about the pic.
I happen to be a Yoshi x Birdo fan so I don't wanna hear that Birdo is a guy bullsh*t because again its very old and I am sick of hearing it. Yes I know its confirmed Birdo is male but that is IN Japan! Listen I know people like to give Japan props for everything and them going by what they claim things to be, but I came from the US and the US made Birdo female, so Birdo is female to me alright?! So shut up!Anyways, besides my rant, (sorry about that for people who already know better) I had a lot of fun making this cute pic and I hope you enjoy it.

This is really cute. I love the background, love the magic. I love how Birdo looks at Yoshi, it appears he's trying to hold her hand.
Also I read comments and people are still talking about how Birdo is male, even when you told them not to say it -.-
I would have removed the comments. Birdo is not a boy! At least not in the U.S., I believe they found it weird that there was a transsexual, so they made Birdo female.
Birdo will always be a girl to me, along with Vivian.

Yeah, most of the time I draw Birdo as a female in my images. I don't mind people drawing Birdo as a male, but thats just something I rather not do because of personal preference.

Nintendo has said a LOT of stuff....like Hmmm "The Koopalings ARE Bowser's children" ...NOW (after 20 something years) they're saying they AREN'T....
So yeah I ALSO believe Birdo is FEMALE....Nintendo obviously couldn't make up their minds on some things
But I STILL Love Nintendo (their random changing of stories is confusing though.....

You know, they always looked great together. :3 And it's okay about the rant, I see Birdo as a girl too and those "you know that's a guy" comments are grating. Like it would matter with this pair, they never established Yoshi as a "guy" either! And they look cute together anyway, isn't that the point? Anyway, great work!

nobody seems to understand that Birdo is Male. lol I know you "think" its female just because of a Bow on its head but the director him self of the games confirmed he was male years ago. Unless over time they changed its gender? But not that I know of

Ohh my bad. X33 I seriously need to fix my artist comment. :3 Yes Its confirmed Birdo is male BUT... that is in JAPAN. In the US Nintendo changed Birdo's gender to female because they thought it would be weird to have a cross dressing dinosaur in a family orientated game. 
But.. I do have my own theory. I think.. there are both male and female Birdo, the same as for Yoshies. I mean come on... how is a species gonna multiply if they don't have both sexes. This doesn't apply to Pokemon. XD But yes, I know and I will fix the artist comment so people will stop assuming I don't know because I DO know now. And I still love Birdo. ^_^

Birdo is a girl, Catherine is a boy. They are NOT the same character. Birdo really should be looked at as a female dinosaur America made compatible for Yoshi. That's it.
