Description This one I worked on earlier last March; I'd probably say since around March. This is probably my best pencil art to date, and I am even more proud of it since it's more colorized, thus making it more pleasing to look at. This one took me a really long time to do. It started out in pencil, then I debated whether to sketch it in with pencil or to color it in. I asked my dad for a second opinion, and he said it'd look better if colored. So I took his word of advice and went with colored pencil. But where would I get some decent colored pencils from? I went to the Rag Shop with my mom while it was going out of business. I think it still is in fact. I picked up some Crayolas. But I didn't stop there. I went to my art teacher and asked if I could borrow some other colored pencils that were not Crayolas. Sure enough she lended me a brand new box of Prismacolors, as well as a box of Prismacolor Woodless Colored Pencils. As you all know, Prismacolor is a very famous brand and works quite well for blending color. I touched it up a little bit and used a paper towel and some Q-Tips here and there to blend some of the color in. Some dust layers from the pencil reigned on where I had built up a lot of layers, so I wiped it away and had a much nicer and brighter surface. It was awesome. Where did I get the inspiration for this you might ask? Well, I wanted to do a Deku Link, but in my own kind of pose. I also wanted to do a crossover from a series, but I couldn't think of which. When video games failed me, I saw my "Spongebob Squarepants Where's Gary?" DVD lying out on the floor. I picked it up and said "You know, I could probably use this!". So I watched the episode a little bit and paused it here and there to get some of the good details in. I also played Majora's Mask on my Collector's Edition disc a lot and took out my old freshman-year Majora's Mask drawing I did to use as reference. You can take this drawing's mood in anyway you want. It can be humorous if you look at it as seeing Gary in a highly unlikely place, but if you wanted to look at it as a more serious piece of work, you can see the expressions on both Deku Link and Gary's faces, seeing as both of them have just met and might want to become friends. You see the heart-wrenching "Missing" posters that it seems Spongebob has been able to put up in the background as he is looking for his mollusk friend. You then look up at the ominous merciless moon in the purple sky, and it kind of reminds you of the Final Night, the last few hours before the Moon will swallow all of Clocktown as well as Termina whole, seeing as Link is the only one who can fight to save the land and Gary from destruction. I know, it's kinda random, but I liked the idea of it. By the way, I took the picture outside to get more natural light in.

Enjoy!

So that makes two of us.

This is such an old pic, like from two and a half years ago I think...but I really like how it came out as well since it's one of my better examples of my hand-drawn talents.

Wasn't expecting the , but hey, thanks a ton! And thanks for the comments as well--they're much appreciated.

Half or most of my fav vids on Youtube are Spongebob episodes that are sped up XD

It's still excellent for a two and a half year old pic! the shading is excellent and the colouring is wonderful! I mean it!
aw you're very welcome B-man! It really caught my eye when I visited your page

Niiice. XD I actually still buy the DVDs they come out with for the show. Although recent episodes haven't been as good as the classics, they've still got an edgy vibe to 'em that I like.

Heh, I actually wish I had done better with the coloring because it's too solidified and not enough shading. I was never good with shading in color, but I guess it's something I gotta live with. But it's definitely colorful, I'll agree with you there.

Ah, so it did? That was my main intent, or one of them anyway. I was sick and tired of seeing the same old stuff on my page, so now until I update this place again, I'm featuring some of my old work on the front page for others to see.
