Whoa. This series is really cool, and really daring. Were you looking at cubism. u must have spent so much money on violins!Its was worth it tho, the whoule series is really impressive

Yeah, my initial idea was cubism, though I ended up with sort of more organic abstraction. I don't know that I'd call the final product cubist, but yes, cubism was part of my original idea for the series. As for the cost of the violins, they were free. They were from a local violin shop whose owner knows my art teacher, and he gave me a bunch of violins that were broken beyond repair. They were all un-fixable, so essentially worthless, so I took them and used them in my art work.
I'm glad you like the series. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Whoa. That was pretty lucky, i was guna try the cuttin up idea once with an old snare drum i have, but got too scared to cut it up. I think its really cool u did, +they all look amazing
