This is a film that ACTIVELY tries to be inaccurate. How do I know? There is a scene where a beaver (an animal who lives in a temperate forest) is in a rain forest, and the characters are very much aware that beavers aren't rain forest animals.It's bad enough when a film tries to be inaccurate, but when a film knows that it's being inaccurate, it comes off as insulting.

According to Schoemann, it was intended to be a film about the discovery of America "from a more satirical view in order to differentiate ourselves clearly from the lofty views of history so we can present Columbus as a lovable, charming and befuddled scholar."
