Excellent choice of skin tone with this setting. Young girls and all kids with brown skin still do need reminders that they can (and should) be astronauts and scientists.
Also, when it comes to girls, it's helpful to point out that you don't become less sexy when you get a job that requires a brain. If anything, you become more sexy (yes, even when you don't have cartoonishly crazy skinny body proportions).
