I love the pose!!! the smirk on the face is awesome. I would try and tone down the blowout on the bottom though it is a bit distracting. Maybe also try and draw out some shadow and midtones on his face to give it more detail and contrast. and overall sharpen him up a bit. but great shot!

The dense areas (highlights) always f*ck up when I scan the negs. The highlights aren't nearly that blown in the neg itself.

I have issues with scanners...they have trouble pushing light through the dense areas of negatives (the highlights) and this ends up exaggerating contrast and the highlights a little...but it's a lot more affordable then making a handprint of every image I like, then scanning it.
