It's still a freaking mess

I will explain the world i've put him in in a bit, once i get around to making refs for other characters. But here's the gist of it.

Name: Oliander
Sex: Male?
Species: Not human
Magical capability: 100% ( I dont know what he can do yet outside of some rough ideas)
Age: ??
Personality: He's a bit skeptical of people and ideas, steadfast in his beliefs and duties. Wonders and philosophizes a lot, he certainly has the time to think. He is a bit old timer when it comes to modern technology, he knows some, but kinda hates it so therefore isn't an expert, doesn't want to be. By default dislikes the planets and what they stand for. In his defense, it's why he's all alone. It's because of them he watched stars disappear one by one, and planets crumble to islands floating in the black. But he can be soft, having a special place in his heart for children and other people who think and question. Even if he doesn't trust you, if you ask the right questions he might give you a chance. I mean dont mistake it for trust, but at least he likes you. Even when overwhelmed or emotional has an intense focus that lets him push through a lot of pain or discomfort.

Backstory Info?: When the rise of tech was becoming kinda all consuming, there where a minority of people who were rightfully alarmed. So they hid their suns inside of planets, and made guardians to watch them and the special kind of tech and magic on those planets, as well as just remember and know how things worked. Oliander guards a planet with an odd type of plant that's... natural tech. It's not manmade, it's definitely a plant, but it acts and works like technology and computers in some ways.
I don't actually know what his eyes do or his general powers outside of what the dangly things do.
Gives the name Esper to people he doesn't trust, or in general when he ever leaves his planet.....
