I love the technique you used here! It looks just like a painting from a canvas! No matter how hard I try to blend dry brushes together like that I can never get that effect and it turns out messy! Mind if I ask what brushes that you use?

For the most part I use Grzegorz Rutkowski's oil brushes (they're free), and for the last couple of drawings I also started using smudge tool, which speeds up the process for me.

I'm so very glad. You certainly captured a great deal of what I was aspiring to have in the picture and gave me what I wanted: the artist's interpretation of a character.
I want to read a sense of sadness into her eyes, or tiredness. That is not a bad thing, given a few details I have in writing for the character.
I'm also very pleased with the dragon embroidery on her robe. That is both an important context for the character and plot-point.

No, there is nothing wrong with them. It is just the combination of both thing is uncanny to me.
