This is a piccie for Jen who's birthday it is today
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!!!!!!!
I know I couldn't get any of the dvds for you, so I doodled this randomly to see how it came out and I hope you like it
For those who don't know this is Tiger from Monster Rancher.....an aging anime from the Digimon era that disappeared randomly without really finishing. We didn't watch it much but we both remember little bits of it
Anyway, have a great birthday Jen and see you Tuesday!

i miss it dammit. i had every single episode b4 of digimon and also monster rancher but i "grew out of it" finding that i still love them to death as i was when i was 4 to 7... though i stumbled on the tapes again just 2 days ago n i found monster rancher tapes 1 and 2 so i had 2 watch.
tiger was my favorite. i'm starting to draw him more.

Random: I watched the third season of the animΓ©! (And I still liked Mocchi more than Rygar when I first saw him. XD)

I loved that series too, and Zoids was another that got token off air while it was not finished, either...x_x, I used to get up early for that one.

Yeah used to love getting up early for Zoids. Moaned at Sky to put it back on but they only played a couple of eps before it disappeared again...

I found the gamecube game too after searching for *forgot how long*, at the right moment I visited Rogers video to see it finally in the sale bin o.o...I knew they would sell it eventually, its just not "popular" enough these days to last on shelves

Game/movie tie-ins aren't always fantastic, that's the only thing you have to be aware of. Was just one of those series that many don't acknowledge, and just fade away as if it never existed...

yea though some anime turned games can be pretty good.....I dunno, the neat idea of transferring monsters into your game from household cds laying around the house is a pretty cool idea

Tiger is so cool! He and Pixie were my faves, though, I liked Mochi too. I really like the shading on this.

I really like how you drew his mane, and the sharp angles you put into his jaws. Looks very good.

I've never even HEARD of that anime, but a lot of them do seem to be pulled off without explanation. (Or so I've heard!)

this is really nice. I have never seen the show, but i love the design, and the eye and the shape of the muzzle are really well done

Aww I loved Monster Rancher... until it vanished. It was on Fox Kids wasn't it... now Jetix or something. I miss those little kid anime shows
