This is a really cool pic of the temple, I like it! The perspective is really cool.
There were some questions about who is allowed inside: Members of the LDS religion who have a recommend from their bishop signed by their stake president are allowed in at any time for various sacred (not secret) ordinances. After a temple is built, but before it is dedicated, an open house is held allowing anyone (press, LDS, non-LDS, anyone) to come inside and look around. Since this temple was dedicated around a century ago, there aren't any open-houses being held currently. However, I'm pretty sure you can still find pictures of the art in the temple, though I don't know where.
Anyway, that's all I had to say. Kudos on the neat photo!

Brillant sky and sun. You can definitely feel it 'reaching for the heavens.'

People can go inside, you just need a temple recomend.

Apparently, only members can go in on certain occasions... weddings and other religious events.

Actually you can go in every day except Sunday(that's when it's closed). You just need a piece of paper called a temple recomend. I myself have been in there and more goes on than just weddings.

I think you pretty much captured the power of the Mormon influence in Utah: tall and intimidating.
