I'd hate to take your time brad, but i would like to ask if you could do some 1000 by 6000 picture with notes and descriptions on how you might go about making any certain material. Indents on objects like metal, crinkles, plastic, Clouds, rubber, grass and trees. just some small scribbles from you and you talking about those scribbles would make me "That Much" more of an artist myself. haha. but i would understand if you wouldnt, im sure probably have work to do.

Sorry no can do. Best i can tell you is just look at real materials, go outside and check out your environment, study it. There is no quick way to understanding this stuff, the sooner you're on board with that, you will notice how quickly you improve.
