Lol my OC would do that... Actually, she kinda has done stuff kinda like that. She ate an can of expired tuna (she ate the can too) on purpose, ate a jar of mystery alien gunk (she had an allergic reaction and nearly died), and tried to eat a golden cyclops nacho (don't ask).

I've never had an allergy in all my life.
Some people say their reactions are so bad that they instantly hate that food.
Some make it seem like they can't resist, no matter how bad the reaction.
What's it like?

It depends on how severe the reaction is and what your tastes are like. I'm allergic to all nuts except peanuts as well as dairy products, but my symptoms are mild to weak, so if I'm given something with a nut in it by mistake, it's not life-threatening.Β
All in all, it's not overly enjoying. It's very painful to say the least.Β

But you know what's really crazy? The amount of allergy filled food out there! Especially in restaurants! I mean, you seriously never realize how much certain allergies are used until you can't eat it.Β
I was told not to eat chicken for awhile because my doctors thought I might be allergic to it, nuts, and strawberries. I needed to get a test done. So while I was waiting for the doctor to open up for this. I couldn't eat ANY of those 3 foods, which took awhile!
Not one but -3- restaurants I found out that were "home-town" ones ended up using CHICKEN BROTH to SOAK their BEEF, Pork and some Fish in! That means I couldn't eat anything on the menu. Nothin'. Β I mean imagine ordering a Hamburger, Burrito, Ribs...etc... only to find out that they soak it in CHICKEN broth! My friends dad would've died immediately! Β ...Then all of those "Desserts" they offer up on the menu...? Most consist of something Strawberry, Nut-Based, or Chocolate based. (which the later is bad if you have acid reflux or just don't like chocolate.) Β I've taken such a huuuuuuuge count of this. It's...overwhelming! Β Like a lemon cake I tried to order one time during this... okay? A LEMON CAKE!! ..........had hazelnut in it. It was made with it, AND, they didn't lable it as having nuts. None of the staff knew. I had to pick up a flyer to see it say it was made with nuts. THANK GOD! Β Β
Luckily for me, It turned out I wasn't allergic to any of those. However, just imagine if I was...? Β *shakes head* ...
