Absolutely perfect, real piece of art, I love it. Passing by techical perfection of the image, I just want to say that the picture holds some great spiritual (mystical?) idea. IMHO, it's the most important thing for any piece of art.

Great job of cutting the stock out, do you mind what technique you use? A lovely piece!

Thank you! I use the polygonal lasso tool on a layer mask. It takes awhile, but is more accurate for me than anything else. After I'm finished, I usually apply the layer mask, select the layer, feather the selection to 1 and apply a new layer mask, just because it helps blend the edges a little better. For this piece I also cut out sections of her dress that were partially transparent, pasted them on a new layer, and adjusted their transparency.

It depends on what you are using it on. Generally, the lightest you can get away with, so it doesn't look overdone. I usually start around 50% and work from there, increasing or decreasing as needed.
