just a drawing of a chick and her lighter. i recently bought this book "Drink and Draw Social Club: Volume 1" from Amazon and it inspired me to sketch for FUN again. and hey, i recommend this book highly to anyone who likes graphic/comic art. There's some great stuff in there.Related content

Your style is wicked. I just love your use of highlighting and shadowing-- the lips and eyes are my favorite, but the hands you draw are just amazing...

Unfortunately, it's too late to order it before Christmas, and after my Christmas vacation I won't have the time to read it anyway.

I love the use of orange chalk, or whatever it is, as the light. It's so warm and bright but really fits well.

it's actually pencil crayon. i think the key to this image is the use of evenly toned warm and cool colours in combination with the brown paper background.

Ah cool. Yes, the balance of tones is good, and I also really like the texture of the orange pencil crayon. It's just a really nice quality that it adds to the colour.
