this was a piece i did for a class project called "magic"... i decided to depict the stroy of the swan princess being hit by a moonbeam and undergoing her cursed transformation... more of a lighting practise for me than anything else...Related content

i love this. it looks much more like how a transformation would be than how i've seen it drawn (sparkly, wings growing out first.) beautiful work! =]

i think the thing i love most about this is how you made it look more realistic than anything else, and not in the sense that most people would think.
most would do a transformation scence more for "pretty" than anything else, but your is a grotesque kind of beauty.

i actually did a little research into how OTHERS had depicted this transformation, and knew i didn't want to show the formulated 'beautiful' way, with the angel wings first.

Ohh.. Isnt the swan princess's name Odette? O_o.. Im stupid. Anyway, this is a muc more detailed picture of her transforming into a swan than any ol cartoon can give, and while its pretty, its also kind of freaky looking, which caps at a "Nice job" in my book
