Well, I haven’t drawn any HollyxFallen fanart for a while, so here’s some! I love this couple because…well, they’re both lonely and lost in the tunnels, so why not have them fall in love??? Fallen Leaves needs some permanent company, while Hollyleaf feels like her whole life has fallen apart, and she needs to start over. So she meets Fallen Leaves, a lonely, nonclan cat…LOOOOOVE!
Also, I’ll add that Fallen Leaves is the only tom I’ve ever shipped Hollyleaf with, sicne I always wanted her to be mateless and be leader and whatnot. BerryxHolly? Lolno, that would be hilarious but impractical. Hollyleaf hates Berrynose. MousexHolly? I’m still rooting for MousexMinnow, even though it’s old-school. I always think of MousexHolly like ThrushxBlue: Mousewhisker is quite a bit older but still a good friend, and if she had forbidden kits he would cover for her. The difference here is that Mousewhisker doesn’t love Hollyleaf. BreezexHolly? Never liked it, although looking back, they were sort of cute in Outcast. However, shipping Breezepelt with Heathertail and Lionblaze with Icecloud, there’s no way BreezexHolly could fit in. SolxHolly? Sol is a weirdo creeper and I hate him. End of story.
So yay for FallenxHolly, the two lonely souls finding comfort in each other they don’t have enough fanart, so it’s up to me to SHOW THEM TO THE WORLD!!! And about the title…u know how Fallen is always angsting about how no1 will stay with him in the tunnels? Well, I imagine him running into Holly and she tells him she’ll walk with him and won’t leave him behind like the others, because she’s all alone too.
This actually came out nice, although it looked pretty iffy in the beginning Drawing Hollyleaf’s body rly frustrated me, but eventually I got it right. Her face looks wonky and strange, but it could be worse! I LOVE the way Fallen leaves looks, he’s just so CUTE! I used the same design for him as was on my first HollyxFallen picture, including his, as my friend called it, pizza tail For some reason his hairtuft came out awesome <3 And guess who decided not to add a background out of laziness???
