A 50mm lens is not ideal for close portraits, this Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f1.4 SL II is slightly better, but not much longer, you still risk distorting the features of a beautiful model like Martina.Still, when I have this lens in front of my camera I can’t resist getting near to the subject, I’m drawn in.
Fortunately also this time I got away with it, and the portrait looks harmonious and sweet.
But don’t try this at home with wider lenses!
