Here's another Jagsters inspired piece! Started out as a warmup sketch, but eventually worked a bit longer on it. It was a good sidestep from all the tight rendering I've been doing lately, and it was a blast to paint with some Miles Davis on the background too. Anyone else listen to specific music while painting specific scenes?Related content

Absolutely! It's a speed thing really, spending several hours detailing minor things like windows doesn't really benefit you when you're creating 'concept' art and the only thing you're after is setting a mood. It can be different if you're creating fine art or finished illustrations, but in a production pipeline it's all about optimizing your workflow and using your time for what's important. If the aim of this piece would be visualizing architecture for instance, I'd probably do it entirely different.
