And "Broken Alliance" continues - page 110, quite the number!
Viper literally closes the door infront of Blaze and Eclipse.
Now, with almost no time left, the two heroines have to find another way out of the doomed facility.
Will they succeed or will all their hopes - and their lives, too - go up in smoke?
Meanwhile, Rufus is still suffering from the effects of his blood poisoning.
It seems Fira and him are on the verge of leaving Viper's abandoned base, though.
After all that happened, will Rufus second-guess himself and decide to help Blaze and Eclipse one more time?
Or has he finally had enough of Blaze double-crossing him and leave her to her fate?

As you can see, the pressure is rising one more time before the story comes to its end. One more page to go, before I'll hand things over to the dudster again.
If you think now "of course they will make it out alive" or "no question, Rufus will save Blaze again" ... ... don't be too sure about it.
We will make sure that this story will have a couple of surprises left, before it's all set and done

Ruh Roh! It's going from bad to worse in this final stage of the story! Time is running out and Blaze and Eppy really need to find a way out before the place comes down. Very nice panel of Viper sending some final regards to Blaze who has been a thorn in her side from the beginning, and nice to see Abe is back on his feet. We need to give that guy some more light as we have not really done him any justice in this tale. It also looks like the blood poisoning has really done quite a number on Rufus, but it looks like the worst of it is over.
There is one thing I have to note though, would Viper really leave Eppy behind after going out of her way to save her from Valentine? I would guess her priorities are her own safety right now mind you with the countdown no doubt drawing closer to its end!

My thoughts exactly about Abe. Though he is a mindless puppet, I thought a lot about what if he wasn't and how to flesh him out a bit more. He really is a tragic character, something that people failed to noticed so far, it seems. That's mostly my bad, of course, I didn't brought him over enough yet. Hopefully I can do so soon - even if it is in another project.
Don't worry, I thought about that. The idea was to have Viper explain what she did here while getting away. Let's hope I can squeeze it all in on the next page.

I am guessing Viper is saying some variation of "good-bye" in Gaelic (like farewell, see ya, etc.) and it obvious those two would not escape that easily
