Second page of the Intro comic for Chapter II of this year's Summer Crossover.Lo and behold! A.N.G.E.L.S. agent Trish Wolfe brought along the big guns!
Why is nobody happy about it?
Looks like from now on heroes and villains will have to team up in order to save their world.
Also, added some humor, as long as it still fits. By next month's challenge, things will get serious enough

Nice page seeing the alternate Burning Blades' meet. Great to see so many of your characters together - it's a difficult balance I think - do you have one character and stick with them - which gives you plenty of room to develop them but could get a bit boring - or do you have lots of characters who you don't have time to give the exposure that they deserve? Glad to see everyone made the party here.
Might be in the minority here but I'm not keen on Dragonborn's outburst. Not against the word but it just seems a bit out of character. Maybe I haven't 'got' her yet but she seemed a bit classier than this! I guess BB must have really upset her in the past!

Dragonborn is ... well, how do I put it?
It is hard for me to write her, too. She's not supposed to be your typical medieval queen, not that classy and/or august.
She used to be a hotheaded warrior in her youth and she is very righteous, but she also used to cuss a lot in her earlier days.
Sure, this is a more grown up version of her, but she is mostly stern and stubborn and she doesn't trust villains at all.
She's a bit sensitive there, since Lucyna stabbed her in the back one too many times in the past.
So just being a lying villain is enough to cause this response.

Considering that there are men in the room, I'm a little surprised that Redback is a bit more compliant than what I expected she would be.

Well, I think OW Dmitri would be kind of shocked (considered what happened last time) and then immediately go "WTF!" when she lunges at him. The original Dmitri...probably send in a robotic duplicate...not because he's a chicken or anything like that.

OW Dmitri and Redback meeting would have been something, I would've been interested in seeing happen.

"My timing couldn't be worse, I know, but I have to ask ... is there something going on between you and ... other me?"

Can't wait for Chapter 3! Chapter 2 looks fun, but as I don't have any DU villains yet, there wouldn't have been much drama I could bring to the table.

Lyn's vocabulary being dated is the idea. She comes from a rather medieval place.
And you can still team up with someone else or use their characters with permission.
You don't HAVE to go the hero/villain route.
Just fight a double and close a portal.
Oh, BB is not ogling her twin, she's just messing around ... as always.
