Sometimes, when you don't know what lies ahead, it helps to get back to the beginning.
Ironically, the Final Fantasy VII Remake made me nostalgic and wanting to revisit my roots.
My passion for drawing reawoke with these two, Rufus Schwarzkreuz and Blaze.
I realized I'm still in love with their story, so I figured let's see where they stand in 2020.
These two are still special to me and Blaze is definitelly one of my favorite characters from around here of all time.
Perhaps actually my favorite, period.

Yeah, last time I drew Blaze was almost a year ago, May '19 ... felt good then, too.
I went for a ready-to-face-an-unseen-challenge vibe with this one.
