On September 26, 2021, "The Worldkiller" Sarah Danvers returned to the top of the VWW mountain by capturing the VWW Global Title at the Recoil PPV.
Taking the crown from fighting champion Írem the Machine, Danvers wanted to not only be a fighting champion herself, but a conquering worldbeater!
While her reign would not be the longest ever, she did accomplish that goal, bringing the best out of some young and hungry challengers and making new stars in the process.
She would eventually be dethroned in a major upset by shooting star Vicky Smythe, ending her reign at only 76 days.
However, it was anything but a clean loss as Smythe had major help from an unexpected source.

- Danvers pinned Írem after a Phoenix Splash.

Sarah Danvers "celebrated" her victory by squashing three poor souls in a Handicap Match on the next edition of Blood Thursday, before cutting a post-match promo in which she announced that she wanted to be "the fightiest of fighting champions you'll ever see!". She followed up by saying it was now open season and she herself was the game. So anybody, hungry, badass or crazy enough to challenge her was welcome to do so and she would even put the "silver crown" on the line. In mid-promo she singled out a certain indie wrestler at rignside and challenged her to a title match right then and there.

September 30, 2021: Sarah Danvers (c) defeats Renee Michelle ( 02:57 )
VWW Blood Thursday from Anaheim, CA
- Danvers pinned Michelle after a Pop-up Powerbomb.
MATCH RATING:

NOTE: After the match, Danvers, still not out of breath, laughed at her own joke ( apparently ) and just said: "Okay, seriously now, who's next?".

On the following October 2 edition of Saturday Night Hawtness Zeda Zhang made her return to VWW, stating that she was tired of being overlooked and challenged Danvers to a title match the following week.

October 7, 2021: Zeda Zhang vs Sarah Danvers (c) resulted in a no contest ( 00:00 )

- The match never got going when Freya Phoenix attacked both women during the introduction.
MATCH RATING:

On the October 14 edition of Blood Thursday Ílayda Ates cut a captivating promo, stating her claim to a title shot. While she did take a shot at her sister, Ahu, by claiming she had always been the "Shawn Michaels" of their team, while Ahu was the "... well, you know who", she also claimed that "a hungry wolf can always outfight a full bear". In her words: "Oh, I am hungry! Starving, in fact! And you, Danvers, you haven't been hungry since you came to VWW. You are just here for the money and the gold, not the kicks. But whether you like it our not, I will give you a kicking!". She then challenged the dominant champion to a Ladder Match for the following week!

October 21, 2021: Sarah Danvers (c) defeats Ílayda Ates ( 22:50 )
VWW Blood Thursday from Anaheim, CA / Stipulation: Ladder Match
- Danvers took down the title belt after powerbombing Ílayda out of the ring and through a ladder.
MATCH RATING:

NOTE: Even though she didn't win the title, Ílayda Ates left this match a much bigger star than she had been before. Only after powerbombing her out of the ring and through a ladder, propped between the apron and the guard rail, did Sarah Danvers get rid of Ílayda Ates and could win the match. If nothing else, this match made Ílayda a star.

Two days after her epic title defense against Ílayda Ates, Sarah Danvers announced on the October 23 edition of Saturday Night Hawtness that she would put the Global Title on the line against Freya Phoenix at PFA's World's Finest XV. This would mark the first time in history a VWW Title was defended against a WEW wrestler on a PFA PPV.

- Danvers pinned Evelin after a Pop-up Powerbomb.

NOTE: Following the amazing match, Sarah Danvers offered Elegant Evelin a handshake. Here, both women were jumped by La Trinidad Indomable. Exhausted as they were, they suffered a beatdown. Raquel Rodríguez would perform a Killstomp ( Curb Stomp ) on Danvers onto the title belt, before announcing herself as the next challenger for the Global Championship.
