It was best when Naughty Dog owned it but they sold out to Sony. I played Crash Bandicoot 1, I got to the snow levels and had a frustrating time, but when it was on Crash Team Racing, I excelled at it and had the patience to get a 110% rating.

Naughty Dog should've kept Crash not sell it to Sony they messed up the series X(
Crash 1 was the best also i liked the Hog riding and Team racing is just great

I really hated it when the racing game came out on the PS2, that really sucked, the controls were horrid.. and the other PS2 game had long loading times, I forgot the name of it... it was the first one released. Crash Team Racing was awesome, it took me countless hours to beat it and unlock everything, the hard settings were the most frustrating..

I believe the PS2 with the long loading times was "Wrath of cortex". I remember having the time to make a cup of tea while it loaded!
Naughty dogs Crash is and always will be the best! Its lovely to meet people who love it just like I did

I forgot the one I played on the PS, I remember Ripper Roo as my first boss and I loved him. He was one of my favorite characters, I loved Crash Team Racing, I still put in many hours and eventually made 110%

Same here! CTR is one of the few games I completed from start to finish along with the rest of the crash's and all the Spyros and FF9
I remember one level in particular "Cold Hard Crash" on Cortex strikes back - it took me at least 20 plays to get all the boxes!

Crash Team Racing was the only one I loved playing and actually put all that time into and unlocking all of the characters. My favorite was Ripper Roo,N.Tropy,N.Gin,Tiny and Fake Crash, Dr. Neo Cortex became very annoying because in pretty much every game I played he was in second... I liked the story modes, I played it on Easy,Medium and Hard, that drove me nuts.. when a racing game has that, I put a lot of time into it along with a LOT of stress.

Fake crash is a strane creation lol!
My favourite thing was getting all the cups on all difficulties! I remember Nitro cup being my faveourite

I got sick of the game because it had a large cast but it never mixed up the characters. I like Fake Crash, he is just too hilarious! I bet if they made a cartoon for this, it would be pretty funny. But since Sony killed it off... I doubt that it will continue to be as popular.. Naughty Dog did a great job, I played only a few other than Crash Team Racing.. tried playing the racing one on the PS2 and thought it was the same but it was horrid..
