I think this has to be one of my better pieces, whether or not it's one of my personal favorites, I'm happy with it. I'm *really* happy with Kagome. (wow, that's a first.
) Some aspects of the piece I'm not terribly pleased with, but on a whole....Medium - 3B, 8B pencil

Excellent shading and composition, I really like how the style gives more emotion to an already emotional piece!
I also extremely appreciate the fact that you made sure they look Asian! That's why I typically don't go for realistic pictures of anime characters, because it seems that everyone forgets that they're supposed to be freaking Japanese! So congrats on getting it right... very right

I've seen too many realistic InuYasha attempts to count, but I've never seen a Kagome one. o_o; Now I have.

Wow, Kagome _is_ very beautiful in this. I'm impressed that you made the characters both look like themselves and look Japanese. Lets face it, most anime characters have features (like the huge eyes and colorful hair) that don't translate very well into any ethnicity. But I think you bridged that gap here. Great job ... and man, those lips are just perfect!

Aside from seeing Inu's ear looks a bit flat, as you said as a whole image it is great. Funny thing is, Kagome looks exactly like my Asian friend if you shortened her hair(lol)
