I used NC Blues stock new-corpse.deviantart.com/art/… and I also used some smoke stock www.deviantart.com/art/Smoke-S… in order to create this. I didn't use the smoke stock for smoke, but I did use it as an overlay in the background to add atmosphere. Maybe this guy's hat needs to be a bit crisper; let me know what you think.Related content

Yeah, for the smoke I used a pencil tool, and used the flat edge to have it have sharp edges, and then let the other parts fade out. I was going to use the smoke picture. but sometimes I find with drawing, that it is easier just to draw or paint, than to mess about too much with programs. Always wish I had more time to explore those other things, but I don't always have the time. Last night was busy: walk home from work, take kid to karate, stationery shop for pens, grab dinner, grab kid back from karate, eat dinner, watch an episode of x-files, Browse DA, work on a couple of paintings...
