Description
As Voran spends his time in the subterranean Gray Lands, he begins to understand the Naga and resigns himself to his "shotgun marriage" to Princess Salgani. Through this time, he comes to realize much about himself, both through the Princess and through experience. But one event reveals everything to his wife, and the thought of losing his only companion in that lonely realm because of his terrible confession causes him to experience true humility for the first time.To explain the positioning of Salgani's hand, she is blind, and is touching Voran's face, feeling his tears.
