Description
Meet Bek, another character from my alternate-history novel. He is Itaweret's younger brother and the intended heir to the governorship of Per-Pehu, an Egyptian colony on the coast of Greece. This has made him diligent to the point of obsession about preparing for his future responsibilities. He even considers pastimes such as hunting in the countryside or playing senet with his sister as part of his training.Originally I envisioned Bek as having short dreadlocks. However, the more I wrote about him in the story, the more I came to imagine him as having a shaven scalp. So that is the look he ended up with.
