:thumb130784539:Ok , I have a few different inspirations for creating this , so bear with me for this bit of babble.
1st and foremost , I have wanted to do a phoenix for awhile now, but couldn't quite figure out how I should do it. I've had this facination with them since my sister Alicia was killed and 2 days later my daughter was born. The whole mysterious nature of the phoenix bursting into flames when it is time to die , and is then re-born from the ashes seemed to apply directly to me at that time of my life.
2nd,for the group 's "Fire of Vengence" contest.
3rd , because I wanted to do another emotional piece based on the following song. I

and 4th , for my 100 theme challenge # 89 "Through the fire"

Wow, just wow. If there wasn't a one hundred word requirement for these critique things, I would leave it at those three words and spend the next half hour gaping at this picture.
I don't know if this is a manipulation, or if the creator opened a portal to an alternate dimension connected to a world where scantily-clad bird women faint in the ocean and took a Polaroid of it, because it's that damn good. I know I'm pretty generous with critique ratings, but I defy anyone who would consider giving this work of art anything less than 5 stars across the board, two thumbs up, and a marriage proposal.

I am here with you through this
veiled titian night, of native heat
moving, without sly moonlight's
presence, of a new bewitchment,
seeking enrichment; amber sips
the drops of essence, sliding
residing, the horizon of this eye
peering out at me, it's tongue,
a darting spear, as both tips of
reptilian stealth meet, inching,
moving through the jungle of your
hair, hiding there, watching you
twitch and rise, seeking out the
contraction around your thickness,
consuming all of its bounty,
even as the glowing fire in your
belly torches the slender quick-
ness of my viper to your snake,
it takes little else in the darkest
regions of musk, till I rise up
through your sex like a phoenix.

This is beyond incredible - pure art.Β
It's story is really heart-touching and I'm feeling all the emotion you've put into this image... it's so stunning and makes me think about the whole life cycle we'll all go through at a long or a short term.
I just got a question: I'm working on a Post-Rock EP at the moment which's concept will be built around the whole thematic of our life cycle. It will be named "From Ashes To Flames" and it would be an honour if I might use this picture as the CD cover - only if you'd be fine with it though.
