This is a beautiful image! I love how you embraced the watercolours not just as your medium, but as your means of expression. Your artwork looks clear, but has just a hint of that watered down look, just an edge of impressionism, almost as if you are viewing this scene through a wet window.
Your control of the medium is very good! You didn't let the different bushes, trees, and flowering plants fade into a multi-coloured block, but instead kept each plant defined from the others.
I love the way you did the shadows on the ground! Using little bits of the colours from the surrounding plants in the shadows really helps center this piece and keep it balanced.
The only thing in the image that stands out to me in a slightly negative way is the large bright spot on the ground closest to the viewer. The one just slightly off center to the left.
See, the bright spot on the ground toward the center of the image is very defined, so you can tell that there is a break in the plants above it that is letting the light shine through. The bright spot closest to the viewer though is not as defined as there are lots of colour changes. Compared to the rest of the sunspots on the ground, this one looks almost as if you couldn't decide if you were going for a sunspot or a slightly shadowed area.
I think perhaps if you had either matched the shadows on the right side of the walkway or had kept very defined bright patches of sun, it wouldn't look quite as out of place.
Of course, that is just my opinion. Other people (you included) might not even notice an issue with that spot on the ground!
Overall, this image is beautifully planned and executed. Keep up the awesome work!
