Jonah Hex of DC Comics versus John Marston of Red Dead Redemption. Two scarred bounty hunting gunslingers from the Old West.

Jonah Woodson Hex is a former lieutenant of the Confederate Cavalry and currently a bounty hunter. Scarred on his face with the Mark of the Demon by his adoptive Apache chieftain father, Hex wields a Bowie Knife, a Cavalry Saber, twin Revolvers, and a Rifled Musket, as well as advanced skill in Hand-to-Hand Combat via his military training, boxing, and various Native American martial arts, mainly Apache. He was taught to shoot by the legendary gunslinger Windy Taylor and has reflexes fast enough to outdraw Wild Bill Hickok, and he can shoot while perfectly blinded; he's highly trained in the use of his Cavalry Saber as a former high-ranking cavalry officer; he's fought and killed a bear and an alligator with just his knife; he was considered the best Tracker and Hunter in the Mescalero Apache tribe; he's defeated a time-traveling Batman in the 19th Century, and fought a post-apocalyptic 21st Century Batman to a draw; he was kidnapped and trapped in a post-apocalyptic 21st Century for a time, joining a motorcycle gang, the Road Reapers, and defeated criminals, mutants, and helped defeat an invasion by the alien Xxggs; and the historical record states that Hex killed a minimum of 336 people in the 19th Century alone.

John Marston is a former member of the outlaw Van der Linde gang and currently a bounty hunter unwillingly operating under the auspices of the Bureau of Investigation. Scarred on his face by a pack of wolves in the Grizzly Mountains, Marston wields his own custom Hunting Knife, twin custom Cattleman Revolvers, a custom Lancaster Repeater, and he's able to wield a wide variety of other weapons, including a Lasso; projectiles like Throwing Knives, Tomahawks, Fire Bottles, and Dynamite; a Bow with regular, Improved, Poison, Fire, and Dynamite Arrows; and various Revolvers, Pistols, Shotguns, Repeaters, Rifles, and Scoped Rifles; he is skilled in Brawling with his fists; and he can use mounted Gatling and Browning machine guns, as well as Cannons. Marston has been involved in numerous duels, as well as large-scale battles against the likes of the O'Driscoll Boys, the Pinkertons, Dutch's Gang, and helped the revolution of Reyes' Rebels against the rule of General Ignacio Sanchez in Nuevo Paraíso, Mexico; he has hunted numerous legendary animals, as well as more common grizzly bears, cougars, wolves, boars and more; and he has his Dead Eye skill, in which time slows for him and he's able to mark multiple targets or fewer targets multiple times, then unleash a flurry of shots against them.
