So this is Rebecca and Mikyutsawl. Their story takes place before the events of That Rich Bastard's 'Avatar.'

Rebecca Juniper is a human botanist and biologist, studying the plant life on Pandora and trying to convert them into plants that can survive Earth's atmosphere, trying to restore their planet and all that, because of course Earth is dying. She dislikes the avatar program and abhors the use of guns, and only likes to work with the plant life. She enjoys being alone, studying, and jogging. She studied with Grace Augustine in the fields of biology and botany, yet strayed away so she could discover things on her own.

Mikyutsawl (name means 'large-eared') is a na'vi male of the Omatikaya clan. He's bored with na'vi traditions and customs and yearns for something new. He refused to take on an Ikran and prefers to study and listen rather than spiritualize and hunt. From the time he was young, he was teased because his ears are twice the size of a typical na'vi's; this caused his mind to open to outside opinions, since his 'own kind's' opinions were so teasing. Oftentimes, as is clan tradition, members who knew him were worried something was truly wrong with his spiritual essence or whatever, because we all know na'vi are tightly-knit and social-orientated, and being by yourself a lot is a no-no.

When Mikyutsawl came across Rebecca out studying the plants and soil, he was intrigued by her quietness, her want to be alone and her insight. Rebecca was equally intrigued because Mikyutsawl seemed so gentle and concerned for her, laid his weapons aside, and, as she saw it, tried to communicate and speak with her instead of acting savagely, as she'd heard the na'vi do when meeting a human; he was different to her. However, because they could not understand each other, their first meeting was very tense, if uneventful. Rebecca went to Grace and asked about the na'vi language, learning enough to speak to Mikyutsawl properly. Open-minded, Mikyutsawl picked up on English quickly, and they spent many a long afternoon talking about their lives and problems.

Rebecca shared the story of how their own planet was dying and how they needed materials from Pandora to survive. Mikyutsawl was touched and sufficiently sympathized with the humans, going so far as to abandon meetings with his clan to sneak along with Rebecca and help her in her studies. Over time, they began to fall in love with each other.

Naturally, both the humans and the na'vi bitched at them both in private, about how Rebecca should stay away from the primitives and how Mikyutsawl shouldn't interact with the tawtutes, the sky people. Both of them copped stubborn attitudes and continued to see each other. Mikyutsawl even carved a wooden bead necklace for Rebecca as a gift, which she from then on wore daily.

Their story ends tragically; as they grow fonder of each other, and Rebecca teaches Mikyutsawl their human ways, Mikyutsawl shapes more and more into siding with the humans. Rebecca was close to finding a breakthrough in her research, with Mikyutsawl's help, when the na'vi launch an attack, striking Rebecca down. She dies before she can utter a goodbye. Enraged, Mikyutsawl attacks his clan memebers, upsetting them. He ends up murdering the two na'vi who killed Rebecca, and is dragged back to the Omatikayan home tree. The eyktan questions him, and Mikyutsawl yells that they needed to help the humans and how they've possibly doomed an entire species by killing Rebecca. He verbally damns and spits foully at his own people. Feeling he's beyond help, and that the sky people had poisoned his mind, the grieving clan put an end to his life quickly. This helped to enlarge the hatred the Omatikaya feel for the humans, the fact that they turned one of their own against them and broke their harmonious way of life.

Call it cliche or whatever. There have been worse fan characters made for 'Avatar.' At least mine have backstories. I also wrote the whole story here because I'M NOT CERTAIN I WILL DO MORE PICTURES OF THEM. This may be the last one, as aside from the fact I'm highly ashamed of myself for having characters like these, they're a pain in the ass to color, and on top of all that, I just don't feel 'into' the whole Avatar scene anymore. This was done out of boredom and want to create Avatar characters who had different backstories than most other fanchars. So it was done.

YES Rebecca should have an exopack on, BUT I was too lazy to draw it in so too bad. Also Mikyutsawl was supposed to be sitting on something, but I was too lazy to throw them in, so too bad again.

However, Mikyutsawl and Rebecca ARE [C] myself, so kindly keep your plagiarizing mitts to yourself.
