Commission done for Lilliththespider with coloured pencils and watercolour, finished on 23rd May 2018.

In the proving grounds, who would not want to see a dragon? The crowd will call for glory, loudly and harshly and with spirit. But who is to face the beast after it tasted blood; after it got blinded by it?

Zyress, the dark elf weaponsmaster faces Kanoay, the golden coloured wyrm -- however, unbeknownst to the masses he does not step in as foe but as the dragon's soother. He arrives to the arena unarmed, having faith - perhaps in his skills, his cruel taming techniques, or perhaps of all unlikely things: in his bond with the creature - that he'll leave alive, having culled Kanoay's bloodthirst.

Will he succeed?
