screwing around with different pens n stuff. what came out was this- some better than others though; i really dont like how fluttershy came out, as she doesnt match how id think of her, and i trashed and totally re-drew rainbow dash twice before i was happy with her. my favs are Pinkie pie and varity, though varity looked better as a plain sketch. time for some headcanons!

Rarity (Varity Adlington) : hardly EVER seen without make up and spends copious amounts of time getting ready. she looks beautiful without it though, a fact which is never dropped by the other girls, some of who are jealous that varity can look good even without her ever-present mask of makeup and dazzle. has unbelieveby pale skin and her eyes dont adjust well to strong light. is never seen without designer wear, whether it's pyjamas or party dresses. Hardly ever sees her parents, who both spend long periods of time at work or out of the country on more work, leaving Varity in their mansion with their very old family butler Jenkins, who varity is very close too. Often travels to luxurious holiday spots. Though she is a bit of a snob she is still popular with the opposite sex and often has a boyfriends, though she never stays with them for long and hates when they try to shorten the time she had with the girls.

Pinkie Pie (Penelope Pitty): called Penny for short. she's quite pale (though not as pale as rarity) and has freckles. she's also really short- shortest of the bunch and wears brightly coloured dresses all the time. she hardly ever brushes her hair (which annoys verity) and burns incredibly easy so wears sun lotion everywhere. she is curious about everything, such as sexuality (she's uncertain) and food. always experiments and LOVES a good party. or even the not so good ones. Lives with her two Mums which lead to teasing in her younger years but she defiantly ignores that and is perfectly happy living with them in their city apartment

AppleJack (Addeline McJackal): called Adder for short and hates her name with a passion. very tanned and quite busty, but lacks a waist, which she is secretly self-conscious about, alongside her freckles. tends to wear her brothers old tops and some scrappy shorts along with a pair of cowboys boots, which Varity 'ironically' bought her. is never seen with make up on. lives with her granny in a converted farm house alongside her little sister and older brother, who unknowingly attracts a lot of attention from the other girls; this confuses Apple Jack, but then again she has to live with him. Loves visiting her large family out in the country on their massive farm and goes for long hikes in the lake lands. Has never left the country, to the surprise of the others. The family has a couple of money problems but that doesn’t tend to bother her. Used to get teased in primary for being a ‘country bumpkin’ but now she is well liked and had long since settled into city life.

Rainbow Dash (Rain Dashing): The love child of the rich Lord Dashing and a Magdalene the hippy who named her and then ran off. Daddy Dashing loves his daughter but doesn’t understand her and used to be suffocatingly protective so Rain had a bout of rebelling against him, following this up with shaving part of her head and dye the hair in a rainbow pattern, aswell as getting many parts of her body pierced (even the girls don’t know where some are). Mingles with diverse groups, from the local goths to the punks down by the river, though she always has time for the girls. Often hangs around Camden Lock (London). Is the tallest, has a slim, firm body, is gay, and has a crush on Fernie, which she hides very well. Tends to wear a mix of odd clothes, often finishing it off with an old studded leather bikers jacket. Excels at sports and her dream is to become a pilot.

Fluttershy (Fern Shamus): Of Irish heritage and is called Fernie for short. Extremely shy and is often dragged along to social events by the girls, namely Penny or Rain. Loves animals and lives with her divorced dad in a small house behind the local school where her dad works as a groundskeeper. Best subject is Art, though she enjoys English. Keeps plenty of animals, her favourite being her rabbit Angel. Likes to wear pastel colours and plain clothes, but has a soft spot for long, flowy skirts and sandals. Is quite short and petite. Has a massive crush on Adder’s brother Big Mac which means she hardly speaks whenever he is around. Gets quite intimidated by Rain sometimes, even though she loves her, because the other is always trying to get her to be more outgoing and outspoken which she isn’t really comfortable doing. Often gets on best with Adder who tends to very protective over her

Twilight Sparkle (Tyler Sparman): of Scottish decent and lives in a girls boarding house close to the school, her little brother (Spike) lives in the boys one. Looks up to Celest, the head girl, and as Tyler is a prefect she spends a lot of time with her. Loves reading but often overdoes it and forgets to be social, meaning she doesn’t have many friends outside of the girls. Is often the one to keep the group in check and tends to sort out any fights within it. Excels in most subjects except Art and Sports, as well as biology, which for some reason she can never get and got some of the highest recorded grades in her exams in the school’s history. Has a big crush on the young assistant in the school’s library, which means she tends to get embarrassed when checking out ten books at a time when he is helping out.
