Description
Here is another one of my foxes.
This is my golden island fox.
Firstly I only saw these with a more silvery dark back on photos and whenever I bought one from a shop, they ended up more orange like red foxes, but what I liked about these is their contrast of grey and yellow and white.
I had some more money last year and tried to get one of these foxes again, but this time I asked the sellers for pictures to pick a pelt instead of just getting one random.
This one I bought from an etsy seller from greece.
The fox wasn´t really very much complete. The belly was split open (like almost every damn ranch fox you get from an European fur seller) and it had nearly no legs and only one ear.
I have sewn up the belly and replaced a bit of the missing chest fur with arctic fox fur which I had a scrap left. The other ear I replaced with one of my brownish grey blue fox ears I had from the faces I originally bought for a different fox where the color did not match. On this fox they match quite well.
I also must say that I had to buy a new golden island fox face for him because he had most part of the right eye and nose completely ripped off.
So I just cut off the old face mostly up to the ears and sew the new one on. You can´t see it mostly, I am happy with how it looks. The lower lip is still the original one.
The front legs are from a wild cross fox, they obviously don´t really fit colorwise and may get exchanged one day if I get a chance to get some more golden island leg scrap or something which looks better.
Otherwise this fox is really fat and big, the fur is very very soft and fluffy.
To compare this fox with other golden island fox I had before:

This one is like most golden island foxes I see, it has a more orange back.
